What’s On Tonight: ‘Parks and Rec’ and ‘Community’ Reunite, and It Feels So Good

Parks and Recreation (NBC, 9:30 p.m.) – Bradley Whitford, of “The West Wing” fame, guest stars on tonight’s thank-Dog-it’s-back “Parks.” I’d like for his character to make at least one Billy Madison reference (something about Triscuits, perhaps?). Also: Chris takes Ron to a meditation center. Hilarity likely ensues.

Community (NBC, 8 p.m.) – The long awaited, much anticipated Annie and Abed Dreamatorium episode. It’s been getting “Remedial Chaos Theory”-like buzz. We’re gonna have so many GIFs tomorrow, guys.

30 Rock (NBC, 8:30 p.m.) – Episode title: “Murphy Brown Lied to Us.” Plus, those Dan Quayle jokes don’t hold up in 2012.

The Office (NBC, 9 p.m.) – Having Sendhil Ramamurthy, who played Mohinder Suresh on “Heroes,” appearing on “The Office” is begging for a, “You know the other connection between the two shows? They both eventually farted out” comment. Because it’s true. *Fart noise*

Awake (NBC, 10 p.m.) – We’re NBC’s completists here at WG. Plus, the episode’s named “Nightswimming” and that’s an awesome REM song.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Gabourey Sidibe on Kimmel; Kelly Preston on Ferguson; Krysten Ritter on Conan; Judy Smith on Stewart; and Tavis Smiley and Cornel West on Colbert. After the jump, a wonderful “Parks and Rec” gag reel.
