“Veep” creator Armando Iannucci talks about the show’s first season. For all the piles and piles of press “Girls” got at the beginning of the season, “Veep” ended up being the more enjoyable watch for me. By a lot. The lesson here is that we should all probably take a deep breath sometimes and try to separate the hype from the actual content. Also, cussing is great and everyone should do it a lot. [GQ]
The Complete History of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” was almost definitely my favorite cartoon about adolescent, pizza-loving reptiles who became masters of martial arts thanks equally to radioactive ooze and a giant talking rat. Top five at least. [Mental Floss]
