It’s been a terrible few days for Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. Up until last weekend, he was a member of the Miami Dolphins, he had recently been married to Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada, and his wedding was the basis of an upcoming reality show on VH1, Eve and Ocho.
Then, 41 days into his matrimonial bliss, Chad Johnson got caught creepin’ when his wife found a condom receipt. (According to RadarOnline, Johnson was banging a Boston woman, Beverly Shiner). Then, in an argument in his car, Chad Johnson head butted his wife, and his whole world fell apart. He was arrested and spent the night in jail. His wife filed for divorce. VH1 canceled his reality series, and the Miami Dolphins cut his ass.
In a cruel twist, it also happened to be the season that HBO’s Hard Knocks was filming the Miami Dolphins, so not only did Johnson get fired, he got fired on camera for all the world to see. It was an awkward exchange, but there were no histrionics. It’s clear Johnson saw it coming, but he tries to flail off the hook for a few minutes before letting the hammer come down.
HBO must be giddy.

The good news, I suppose, is that head-butt move will probably serve him well in a second-career in the WWE.
