What’s On Tonight: ‘New Girl’ Is Back, But ‘Raising Hope’ Is Not

New Girl (Fox, 9 p.m.) — The good news is, New Girl is back after a two-week hiatus. The bad news? Raising Hope is not. Hell’s Kitchen has taken over that slot. In fact, there are only two episodes left of the Raising Hope’s season, and both will air on March 28th after American Idol. But worry not: Raising Hope has already been renewed for a fourth season. In the meantime, tonight Jess admits how she feels to Nick, and then everything goes to hell.

Mindy Project (Fox, 9:30) — In tonight’s episode, Mindy’s co-workers screw up her birthday party, which sounds an awful lot like the Christmas episode, when her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend screwed up her Christmas party. This show really likes episodes about screwed up parties, I guess.

Go On (NBC, 9 p.m.) — Enjoy this easy to ignore timeslot for another week, because soon Go On will move to the slot after The Office on Thursdays. Please ignore it there, too. The sooner it dies, the sooner Matthew Perry can return to televised dramas like West Wing, Studio 60, and The Good Wife, where he’s so much better.

Cougar Town (TBS, 10 p.m.) — PEOPLE. Did you see last week’s episode, or should I say: Target commercial? That was the saddest, most transparent display of product placement I’ve seen in a very long while. I mean, COME ON. A staycation in a Target store?

Justified (FX, 10 p.m.) — Tonight, Boyd Crowder and Wynn Duffy team up against Raylan Givens and Drew Thompson to nab Thompson before he escapes Harlan County. You know what’s great about this show? I DON’T KNOW WHO TO ROOT FOR.

LATE NIGHT LISTINGS: Hey! Bill Cosby is on Letterman (I wonder if he also made Justin Bieber cry?); Jenna Fischer is on Leno (it could’ve been Mary Lynn Rajskub); Gerard Butler is out promoting Olympus Has Fallen on Kimmel; Michelle Monoghan will look very pretty on Ferguson; Fallon has Selena Gomez; and the rest are in reruns.
