Find one bad thing about that headline. Go ahead. I’ll wait. And I’ll keep on waiting forever because you can’t. It’s got everything.
Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke will topline The Garden of Last Days, James Franco’s latest directorial effort. […]
Adapted from the 2008 novel by Andre Dubus III (House of Sand and Fog), The Garden of Last Days explores family and sexual values over the course of a night set in a Florida strip club.
In one of three interwoven stories, Clarke will play a stripper who brings her 3-year-old daughter to work. [THR]
This is probably going to be a very serious, semi-bummer of a movie, but let’s put that aside for a moment because literally ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT RIGHT NOW is a James Franco directed Magic Mike sequel where Emilia Clarke and Channing Tatum raise that three-year-old while working in side-by-side Tampa strip clubs. And guess what? THE THREE-YEAR-OLD IS A DRAGON. Yup. Two exotic dancing lovebirds raising a fire-breathing mythical beast by day, and grinding away to the smooth sounds of 90s R&B at night.
I mean, it wouldn’t be the weirdest thing to ever happen in Florida, right?
