Weekend Preview: Season Finale Time Is Here. It’s Gruyere! Get Used To It

Maron (IFC, Friday 10 p.m.) — I’ve listened to enough of Marc Maron’s podcasts to know that, while he’s a great interview, and gets great interviews, I don’t really care that much for Maron himself. I checked out last week’s premiere episode, and my feelings were similar: Dave Foley was great! Marc Maron? Eh.

Touch (Fox, Friday 9 p.m.) — SERIES FINALE. You haven’t watched it until now, so there’s no point in starting. But hey! Jack Bauer might be back in a few months.

Vegas (CBS, Friday 9 p.m.) — SEASON FINALE. CBS hasn’t cancelled it yet, but CBS is going to cancel it. Get your Dennis Quaid fix in, now. Unless you like sh*tty movies, it may be the last time you see him for a while.

Doctor Who (BBC America, Saturday 8 p.m.) — Some thought this last, stand-alone episode, was the best of this half season. I thought it was just as lousy as the rest of the season (save for the Neil Cross episodes). I love Oswin, but I wish they gave her and Matt Smith better storylines.

Black Orphan (BBC America, Saturday 9 p.m.) — Just as I was beginning to lose interest in this series, last week’s super fun episode completely hooked me back in.

Saturday Night Live (NBC, Saturday 11:30 p.m.) — Kristen Wiig! Vampiire Weekend! I expect a soliid epiisode.

Bob’s Burgers (Fox, Sunday 8:30 p.m.) — SEASON FINALE. To prep you for the season finale, check out the The 10 Best Bob’s Burgers Songs, As Picked by the Show’s Writers, and see how they line up with Josh’s 10 Best Musical Moments from Bob’s Burgers.

Game of Thrones (HBO, Sunday 9 p.m.) — I think I’ve said as much as I can about this series over the course of the season, but if you book readers aren’t reading Joanna Robinson’s weekly smug book reader recaps, you really should.

Mad Men (AMC, Sunday 10 p.m.) — Here’s the cast of Mad Men cast in a Chevy Vega ad. Cute!
