What’s On Tonight: The Maybe, Could Be, Probably Isn’t Final Episode Of ‘Community’

Community (NBC, 8 p.m.) — Season finale. I think Community will be back for a fifth season, for one simple reason: NBC needs to air something, and Community has a rabid, built-in audience. Plus, it’s cheap and syndication $$$, so it wouldn’t make sense for tonight’s episode to be the show’s last. Except, one could argue, for reasons having to do with quality. Anyway, Alison Brie in a red dress, so watch the thing.

Two and a Half Men (CBS, 8:30 p.m.) — Season finale. Let’s hear it for the other half-man, star Angus T. Jones, who will only have a recurring role next season: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

The Office (NBC, 9 p.m.) — “Jim convinces Dwight that he needs to hire an assistant to the assistant to the regional manager.” But less importantly, Andy isn’t dead and he’s brought Santigold, Aaron Rodgers, and Clay Aiken into his world of suck. Guess they couldn’t get Ruben Studdard.

Hannibal (NBC, 10 p.m.) — “Sorbet.” That’s both the name of tonight’s episode and a food I will never eat again because of this show.

Small Town Security (AMC, 10 p.m.) — Season premiere. A sneak peek into the script: *fart noise* THE END.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Benedict Cumberbatch on Letterman; Shakira, Marc Maron, and Tom Jones on Leno; Tobey Maguire, Kerry Washington, and will.i.am on Kimmel; Bob Saget and Sarah Hyland on Ferguson; Jane Lynch, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Lady Antebellum on Fallon; Don Cheadle and Pete Holmes on Conan; David Sedaris on Stewart; and Jennifer Egan and Baz Luhrmann on Colbert.
