What’s On Tonight: ‘The Office’ Finale Is Going To Hurt Like A Motherf*cker

The Office (NBC, 9 p.m.) — Series finale, with a one-hour retrospective at 8 p.m. and new episode (set months after last week’s, with appearances from Ryan, Kelly, and Michael) at 9 p.m. Sad, relieved recap tomorrow.

American Idol (Fox, 8 p.m.) — Season finale. This also ends, though sadly not for forever. The two finalists are Candice Glover and Kree Harrison and future ex-judge Randy Jackson will bark his last YO DAWG.

Scandal (ABC, 10 p.m.) — Season finale. Everyone’s raving about this show, so it might be worth catching up with over the summer, assuming you already aren’t enjoying Kerry Washington. Kerry Washington on Scandal, that is.

Elementary (CBS, 10 p.m.) — Two-hour season finale. Extra Moriarty, extra Natalie Dormer as Irene Adler.

Hannibal (NBC, 10 p.m.) — DVR alert: Hannibal doesn’t begin until 9:15 because of The Office. Think of all the (humans as) food porn we’re missing out on, even in an episode about a victim with exposed vocal chords.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Barbara Walters, Jesse Eisenberg, and MS MR on Letterman; Adam Sandler and Phil Jackson on Leno; Chris Pine and Connie Britton on Kimmel; Paul Reiser on Ferguson; Mindy Kaling on Fallon; Zachary Quinto, Heather Graham, and Jen Kirkman on Conan; George Packer on Stewart; and Dr. Daniel Lieberman on Colbert.
