Guess Which TV Show Had The Highest Rated Single Season Of All Time For HBO (And The Morning Links)

Oh, you thought it was going to be this season of Game of Thrones. Sorry, but it’s actually the fifth season of The Sopranos, the season, you know, where that person got whacked (oh, that season). However, this season of Game of Thrones, with an average of 13.6 million viewers (once you account for replays, DVR, VOD, and HBO to Go) is the second most watched season ever, surpassing the 2010 season of True Blood (though, to be fair, there are a lot more ways to watch Game of Thrones). Surprisingly, Deadwood‘s 2004 season is the 8th most watched HBO season, just below Entourage, and yet Entourage ran for eight seasons, yet Deadwood was pulled after three. C**ksuckers.
