Prepare To Cry Again: Seth MacFarlane To Voice Fry's Dog Seymour On 'Futurama'

In a brief cameo for the animated comedy’s final season, [Seth MacFarlane] will provide the voice of Fry’s tragically loyal canine, Seymour, who was featured in a 2002 episode. “This will be Seymour’s first and only spoken dialogue,” Futurama executive producer David X. Cohen tells EW. “Since Seth voices Family Guy‘s talking dog, Brian, we thought it would be funny to have him blatantly rip himself off for our benefit. As an added bonus, the only person he can sue is himself, so we’re off the hook.”

In the episode, which airs Aug. 14, the Planet Express crew journeys into Fry’s dreams to pull off a mission in the year 1999. Sarah Silverman also pops up in her old role as Michelle, Fry’s girlfriend. (Via)
