What’s On Tonight: Get Your ‘Simpsons Did It’ Jokes About ‘Under The Dome’ Out Now

Under the Dome (CBS, 10 p.m.) — Series premiere. No, The Simpsons did not do it. Well, they did, but please don’t be one of those people who tweets that during the first installment of Stephen King’s Under the Dome miniseries, written by the wonderful Brian K. Vaughn and starring Hank from Breaking Bad. Instead, feel weird that you’re actually kind of, sort of excited for something on CBS. The horror.

Adventure Time (Cartoon Network, 7:30 p.m.) — Lumpy Space Princess is robbed but more importantly, now that Futurama is back, John DiMaggio is summer’s answer to H. Jon Benjamin.

Oh Sit! (The CW, 8 p.m.) — Season finale. Now where will I go for chair-based hijinks?

Miss You Can Do It (HBO, 9 p.m.) — HBO’s documentary series continues with Miss You Can Do It, about a beauty pageant in Illinois for little girls with special needs. I’m afraid to make a Miss Utah joke.

Bob’s Burgers (Cartoon, 10:30 p.m.) — Adult Swim began airing old episodes of Bob’s Burgers yesterday, so you should catch up with ones you missed the first time, including tonight’s “Crawl Space.” Not to be confused with.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Melissa McCarthy and Idris Elba on Letterman; Steve Carell and Barenaked Ladies on Jay Leno; Liev Schreiber, Amy Schumer, and Iron & Wine on Kimmel; Toni Collette and Dylan Moran on Ferguson; Sharon Osbourne on Conan; Maggie Gyllenhaal on Stewart; and Andrew Solomon on Colbert.
