What’s On Tonight: Good Lord, How Many Country Music Awards Shows Are There?

CMT Music Awards (CMT, 8:00 p.m.) – Kristen Bell hosts. Is it me, or is there a different country music awards show every month? I feel like that’s what’s happening here. In my mind, Taylor Swift has won so many awards from so many of these shows that she can’t even get out of her house. You’ll hear all about it in her next single “Heartbroken and Hoarding.”

The Soup (E!, 10:00 p.m.) – I don’t mention The Soup every week, probably because they do my job better than I do and I’m jealous of everyone who works there, but you should still be taking it upon yourselves to watch/DVR it every week. I can’t do everything for you guys. Show a little initiative, for God’s sake.

Mile Wide Tornado: Storm Chasers Tribute (Discovery, 10:00 p.m.) – This is an hour-long tribute to the storm chasers who were killed in last week’s tornadoes in Oklahoma.

Southern Fried Homicide (ID, 10:00 p.m.) – I want to stress to you in the strongest terms possible that this is the actual title of a new true crime show.

Nothing Else (Every Channel, All Night) – Go outside.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Johnny Galecki, John Mellencamp, Stephen King, and Queens of the Stone Age are all on Letterman; Sanjay Gupta is on Ferguson; Danny McBride and Khloe Kardashian are on Leno; Glenn Close and Dolph Lundgren are on Fallon; Phil Jackson is on Tavis Smiley; and Alexander Skarsgard and George R.R. Martin are on Conan.
