What’s On Tonight: ‘New Girl’ Or ‘The Sopranos’ If You Play Your Cards Right

Catfish (MTV, 10 p.m.) — You could watch tonight’s episode of Catfish, or you could watch David Spade’s Catfish spoof.

Big Brother (CBS, 9 p.m.) — Now that we know that the Big Brother house is full of racists, homophobes, and misogynists, dollars to donuts says the ratings rise. AMERICA.

Nine for IX: Venus vs. (ESPN, 8 p.m.) — I probably wouldn’t have thought to watch this documentary about the rise of Venus Williams, and how she’s fought to ensure that women are paid as much as men in tennis, but Robert Lloyd’s review over on the L.A. Times has swayed me.

Inside Amy Schumer (Comedy Central, 10 p.m.) — SEASON FINALE. I had told myself all season long I was going to give the show a shot, but I never got around to it. NOW’S THE TIME. Or I could just catch up on Bob’s Burgers.

New Girl (Netflix) and The Sopranos (HBO to Go) — If you’re one of those people who haven’t gotten around to watching The Sopranos, now’s a great time, as it’s available on HBO Go now. If that’s too heavy for you, maybe give New Girl a try. The first season is up on Netflix now, but be sure to give it seven or eight episodes to find its footing.

LATE NIGHT LISTINGS: Everything is in reruns this week except for Kimmel. Will guest Armie Hammer kiss him as passionately as Hammer’s The Lone Ranger co-star, Johnny Depp?
