More ‘Game of Thrones’ Characters Reimagined As ’80s And ’90s Stereotypes

Graphic artist Mike Wrobel likes to draw Game Of Thrones characters set in the 1980s and ’90s, complete with color-saturated clothes befitting pop culture archetypes. First he released a set which included grunge dude Jon Snow, alternachick Daenerys Targaryen, Sansa Stark by way of Kelly Kapowski, and more. Then we saw his take on popular kid Tyrion Lannister, glam rock Cersei Lannister, and cringe-inducing Theon Greyjoy.

The new set casts Ygritte as Jon Snow’s grunge contemporary, Sandor Clegane as the creepy school janitor, Tywin Lannister as an imposing Chief of Police, and more. The color theme for Robb Stark and Talisa Maegyr is perfect, but my personal favorite might be that radical White Walker. He looks cool.
