What’s On Tonight: Which ‘New Girl’ Roommate Will Be Moving Out Of The Loft?

New Girl (Fox, 9 p.m.) — E! Online is reporting that, in order to make room for Damon Wayans, Jr. in the loft, a roommate will be moving out of on New Girl (if not tonight, then soon). Who will it be? Schmidt seems like the obvious choice, because of the friction with Nick and Jess, but my money is on Winston. Why? Because network television won’t allow two black guys in the same apartment, plus I bet that Winston will have to move because the loft won’t allow him to keep his cat.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Fox, 8:30) — Yeah, it’s starting to grow on me. Big time.

The Goldbergbs (ABC, 9 p.m.) — Meanwhile, The Goldbergs is starting to lose some of its luster, simply because the show refuses to do anything new. The episodes are like Mumford and Sons songs: They’re good, but they all sound the same.

Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. — The ratings for this show continue to impress. After a full seven days of DVR viewings were accounted for, the premiere episode bested Modern Family with over 15 million viewers, while last week’s episode beat the once dominant NCIS. Again. It’s also becoming a better show, slowly but surely.

Sons of Anarchy (FX, 10 p.m.) — TMZ is reporting that a 43-year-old Sons of Anarchy actor was detained by police after he got drunk and refused to pay his $56 bar tab, which we can agree is a sh*tty thing to do. The only thing is, the guy’s name is Paul Vasquez, and he was in two episodes of SoA two years ago, so it’s even more sh*tty of TMZ to associate the guy with Sons. Must’ve been a slow news day. Either that, or they got so much traffic from their rumor that Half Sack fathered an illegitimate child before he died that they decided to continue exploiting the show for page views. TMZ is the worst.

LATE NIGHT LISTINGS: Letterman’s got Stallone, Johnny Knoxville is on Kimmel; Michael C. Hall is on Ferguson (which should be interesting, post-Dexter), Conan has Samantha Gordon, and everything else is in reruns this week.
