Jon Stewart Called Bullsh*t On Megyn Kelly’s Claim That Her ‘Santa Claus Is White’ Rant Was Just A Joke

As you may recall, last week Megyn Kelly, the flagship blonde of Fox News’ vaunted Aryan babe brigade, reached out to America’s children to assure them that Santa Claus and Jesus were/are both white. For this, she found herself on the receiving end of ridicule and scorn. Then, on Friday night, Kelly addressed the issue on her show, essentially saying the following: Um, HELLO, I was joking…can’t you people take a joke? Jesus!

“Humor is what we try to bring to this show,” Kelly said defiantly, “but that’s lost on the humorless.”

Naturally, Jon Stewart kicked off his show last night with this and, naturally, he called bullsh*t, in so many words.

“What appeared to me to be another example of a Fox News segment expressing anger and victimization over the loss of absolute power and reframing that as persecution of ‘real America’ by minorities, freeloaders, and socialists…What I thought was that was a jest, a jape, a bit of wise-crackery,” Stewart quipped, his voice ripe with sarcasm. “I guess we all owe you an apology.”

Enjoy.
