Jon Hamm appears on the cover of Men’s Health’s May issue, and at some point during the lengthy, eight-page interview, he gives his opinion on Justin Bieber and why it’s a bad idea that he surrounds himself with yes men, enablers and black dudes he pays to lose at basketball. And if anyone in this world gets to call Justin Bieber a sh*thead, it might as well be Don F*cking Draper.
“Look at Bieber or whoever,” he says. “You’re like, ‘What the f**k, man? What are you doing? Why?’ There’s no one telling those people no, and it’s a shame.”
What young celebs like that really need, Hamm says, “is a mom or a dad or a really good friend who can say, ‘Hey, sh**head!’ You see people in the world and you’re like, ‘Do you know how a washing machine works? Do you know how to wash a dish? Life skills are something we’re missing.
“There used to be a class that kids had to take in high school called home economics, which was cooking and sewing and just s**t you needed to learn in life.”
To be fair, you don’t have to be a rich brat with your head crammed up your own ass to not know how a washing machine works, but I’ll save making fun of my husband for another time. While we’re on the topic of Jon Hamm calling Justin Bieber a sh*thead, though — Jon Hamm and Justin Bieber should really meet in person sometime. The pure waves of manliness and virility emanating off of The Hamm would probably have the same effect on Justin Bieber as pouring salt on a slug. At the very least, his tiny balls would probably retract back up into his body and his voice would reverse change. It would be awesome.
