Here’s Dolly Parton Playing The ‘Benny Hill’ Theme On A Tiny Rhinestone-Covered Saxophone

The biggest news from England’s Glastonbury Festival — in our little world, at least — was probably that Arya Stark herself was in attendance and raving like mad with her Game of Thrones sister (no word on if Hodor was DJing, but fingers crossed, obviously). That said, I feel like I wouldn’t be doing my job if I failed to bring one other highlight from the week-long music festival to your attention: Dolly Parton played “Yakety Sax,” the theme from The Benny Hill Show, on a tiny rhinestone-covered saxophone. She really did. Look at that video. What a day to be alive.

And here’s the best part: You and I had the benefit of reading the headline before we watched the video, so we kinda knew what to expect, as ridiculous as it sounded. The tens of thousands of people in the crowd, however, many of whom were probably on weapons-grade quality mind enhancers? Not so much. They watched 68-year-old Dolly Parton walk out on stage and play “Yakety Sax” on a tiny rhinestone-covered saxophone, and they did it with fresh eyes. Rest in peace to what I can only assume are the thousands of English teens who died on the spot when their drug-riddled brains tried to process this.
