What’s On Tonight: A Very Special ‘Louie’

24: Live Another Day (Fox, 9 p.m.) — It’s 5 o’clock somewhere. 24, specifically.

ABC News: Hillary Clinton (ABC, 9 p.m.) — Don’t blame me, I voted for ABC News: Elizabeth Dole.

Murder In the First (TNT, 10 p.m.) — Series premiere. It’s the TNT version of True Detective (ten episodes, one case), with Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson playing homicide detectives Terry English and Hildy Mulligan. Are we sure this show wasn’t written by Danger Guerrero?

Longmire (A&E, 10 p.m.) — An investigation into the murder of a Russian adoptee leads the team into a shady underworld. So THAT’S what happened to the Russian from The Sopranos.

Louie (FX, 10 p.m.) — It’s a mini-American Hustle reunion when Jeremy Renner drops by in an episode that was also supposed to feature Philip Seymour Hoffman. The helpful episode synopsis: “Louie remembers his past.” Oh. Note: it’s 90 minutes long.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Kelsey Grammer and Willie Nelson on Letterman; Clint Eastwood and Jack White on Fallon; Dennis Miller on Ferguson; Steve Buscemi and Sia on Meyers; Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill on Conan; Philip K. Howard on Stewart; and Esther Perel on Colbert.
