‘Orange Is The New Black,’ ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Won Big At The Creative Arts Emmys

The 2014 Primetime Emmys that you love and/or tolerate aren’t until August 25th, but last night was, in the words of Kristen Schaal, the “ego-less” Creative Arts Emmys were held last night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. That’s where all the sound editing and makeup and other awards you probably don’t care about are presented, but there were some notable winners: Orange Is the New Black‘s Uzo Aduba for Guest Actress In a Comedy Series, SNL‘s Jimmy Fallon for Guest Actor In a Comedy Series, Masters of Sex‘s Allison Janney for Outstanding Guest Actress In a Drama Series, and best of all, Bob’s Burgers, which won the first of many (hopefully) Outstanding Animated Program trophies.

It’s also worth noting that True Detective won awards for casting, makeup, cinematography, and main title design. Meanwhile, that show’s main award competitor, Breaking Bad, only won for picture editing. Cranston vs. McConaughey is going to be GOOD. Here’s the (nearly) full list of winners.
