Modern technology allows us to keep in touch with (and avoid!) people in ways we never imagined. It’s pretty great. But the downside of relying on text-based messaging is human emotion increasingly gets lost in translation. Never has this been more pointedly articulated than in the new Key & Peele sketch above.
Much like the duo’s running Obama’s Anger Translator gag, this sketch takes a great premise to the next level by perfectly utilizing the team’s individual strengths, with Keegan Michael Key aggressively gyrating and shouting in an empty room and Jordan Peele racking up just as many laughs with his understated approach (and pizza sweater!). These guys are on quite a roll.
