Black Friday is the worst. It’s the nasty post-Thanksgiving dump that America takes each year, the ugly aftermath to one of the loveliest days of the year. Black Friday is why America can’t have nice things. No one denies this. Yet, it persists, like a herpes sore festering on America’s big, dumb dong, because we refuse to get the shot we need to cure it, because capitalism, or something.

ANYWAY, Lewis Black had some things to say about it, as only he can, on last night’s Daily Show. Black reserved some special venom for the hypocrites at Fox News for constantly braying about the importance of family while at the same time extolling the virtues of the relentless capitalism that keeps people who work in retail away from their families during the holidays. Enjoy.
