Last week I put together a yuletide ranking of beloved children’s Christmas specials, however many readers took me to task — perhaps rightly so — for not including the classic The Year Without A Santa Claus. Listen, I’m sorry. I really am. But having never watched The Year Without A Santa Claus growing up, in good faith I just couldn’t fairly rank it in my list.
So to make up for it, please accept this pittance in the form of Jimmy Kimmel’s latest “Kimmel Kartoon,” which mashes up Real Housewives of Atlanta with The Year Without a Santa Claus — as previously done with Rudolph and Maury. Again, I really don’t understand what’s supposed to be going on here, but hearing an adorable little stop motion puppet talk about being “a size queen” is good enough for me.
