Back in September, we told you about Redditor Josh, the young man with Von-Hippel Lindau syndrome who stopped by the Parks and Recreation set thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Well, earlier today, he added more behind-the-scene photos, as well as a video from his visit where he drops some rhymes for freestyle queen Amy Poehler.
I was given the honor to visit the set and meet the cast of NBC’s Parks & Recreation through the Make-A-Wish program in August of 2014. My love of Amy Poehler really started when she performed the Sarah Palin Rap on SNL. Because of this, I wrote a parody called the Amy Poehler Rap for her. Unfortunately the majority was written right before I performed it, so it could have been better. Either way, she is one of the kindest and warm-hearted people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
