‘Banshee’ Rampages Again In The Season Premiere

Executions, explosions, and arrow rampages? For a season premiere that was more about setup, Banshee sure knows how to keep it all from being tedious.

We start off with the entire sheriff’s department hunting down and executing the dude that killed Yawners last season. It seems they’ve all crossed over to that grey area of justice. Brock in particular is having trouble adjusting to Hood’s ways, and his ex-wife booty calling while he’s on the job is not helping.

Carrie’s life is not going so great. She’s divorced, off robbing for money while fronting with a day job as a waitress. Deva is off robbing weed stores (poorly) and her ex-husband is still not doing well after Hood ruined his life. Still, that’s no reason to be grabbing her ass.

You know, we haven’t caught up with Proctor and his niece. I wonder how’s that go-

OK then.

On the other hand, someone’s selling drugs in his territory, so that’s not so great. Also this:

Chayton Littlestone is back to claim what’s his, be it leading the Red Bones…

… or a military truck full of weapons.

While investigating the base for the trunk of weapons, Hood notices that the base is moving much more than that.

If you look close enough, you can see the dollar signs in Hood’s eyes.

But a military base is pretty hard to break in to. You’re probably gonna need someone good at computers to help out.

Luckily, Job seems to be free. Especially for $8 – $10 million.

In not so GIF-able tidbits, new deputy Billy Raven is a currently shunned member of the Kinaho tribe, and Carrie’s current f*ck buddy is the head of the military base that Hood has his eyes on. I’m sure both of those fun facts will be more important later in the season.

So there you have it. Red Bones, robberies, and… some “R” word for Kai’s whole deal. Banshee is back, and Friday nights are more entertaining for it.
