You ever watch an episode of the classic game show The Price is Right and see someone guess the exact price of an item? It gives you an odd sense of satisfaction for them for a second. It is like watching someone who is in the zone, sinking threes from downtown (do people say that?). What you see above is the EXACT opposite of that. It is that feeling you get when you are watching someone who is clearly NOT in the zone. You almost squirm in your seat with discomfort for them. Yes, them.
Contestant two after the initial shocking guess drops one that is even more shocking. I don’t quite think he grasped the working concept out outbidding someone. He just heard the term somewhere and went with it.
Personally, I find a sense of zen in these two’s naivety about the prices of modern technology. We are a world obsessed with our phones and our tech and toys. It’s refreshing to see two people who literally have no clue. I bet these two have some KILLER land-line service.
