If Mike Huckabee is learning anything from his book’s promotional tour, it’s that powerful women are not to be f*cked with. The former Arkansas governor has found his name in the news recently after calling out Beyonce for her “vulgar” music and stripper antics. Queen Bey obviously didn’t stoop so low as to respond to the Republican presidential hopeful’s comments (though plenty of other celebrities didn’t mind going to bat for the “Partition” singer) and Huckabee hasn’t stopped digging himself into that sexist, misogynistic hole he’s been working on for a while now.
Though not the first name one would think of when it comes to the feminist movement, Fox News host Megyn Kelly has proven she has absolutely no problem schooling the patriarchal douchebags that visit her show. When Huckabee made an appearance to promote his book and share his good ol’ Midwestern views on why this country has basically gone to sh*t (spoiler: New Yorkers, foul language and Miley Cyrus are to blame), Kelly had no problem giving the governor a cold dose of reality when it comes to the things modern, “trashy” women are doing:
Well I do have news for you before I let you go. We are not only swearing. We’re drinking, we’re smoking, we’re having premarital sex with birth control before we go to work—and sometimes boss around a bunch of men!
Huckabee clearly doesn’t want to hear that (he says as much) but, like the boss-ass b*tch she has suddenly transformed into, Kelly could care less.
