David Duchovny stopped by The Late Show to discuss the excitement surrounding his return to Fox Mulder and The X-Files. He talks about fan reactions, when the series will kick off, and some of the cast that is rumored/confirmed to return. This includes fan favorites like Skinner and Cigarette Smoking Man.
He also discussed a bit of Aquarius, including its similarities with The X-Files and the possible conflicts it could create with the mini-series. We’ve spent so much time living with Hank Moody, that it might be a little odd to go back to Fox Mulder all of the sudden.
If he ends up drinking heavily and banging rookie agents throughout the entire miniseries, I wouldn’t be too shocked. They could blame it on the black ooze or some junk.
