In the “this is trending?” department comes word that Neil deGrasse Tyson’s late night talk show for Nat Geo will get its premiere on 4/20. This is noteworthy because 4/20 holds close ties with cannabis culture and stoners allegedly love stuff that has to do with space and the universe. I’ll buy it. The date has to be intentional.

The actual show obviously has nothing to do with weed, unless Tyson throws a curveball since the show is moving from being a podcast to television. Here’s what you can actually expect when the show premieres. From Entertainment Weekly:

StarTalk is based on Tyson’s weekly podcast of the same name and will fuse pop culture and science to explore a variety of topics. The weekly show will record at New York City’s American Museum of Natural History and feature one-on-one interviews between Tyson and a guest, before expanding to a discussion with “a comedian co-host and influencers in media,” according to National Geographic. Oh, and Bill Nye the Science Guy will weigh in every week on that episode’s theme.

In the first episode Tyson will interview Star Trek alumnus George Takei about how the show can serve as “an inspiration for the future.”

Bill Nye is obviously where the weed supply is coming from, right? Sitting around in a green room, lighting up until he can’t see his hand in front of his face, and then just riffing on the topic of the day. It better go something like this or I’m going to be disappointed:
