Empire is the No. 1 new show of the broadcast television season, there’s no denying that. Even more so, it’s opened the flood gates on a major diversity push within the ranks of the small screen. However, for all the good it’s done, something the show is truly lacking is an opening credit sequence.
Realizing that the hit series required such an item, the good folks at Vulture took the challenge to heart by combining the Fox drama with its spiritual predecessor, Dynasty. With a second season officially ordered, here’s hoping that Fox gets the message and gives the show something as cool as this to lead into every episode of the Lyons’ continuing musical adventure.
