What’s On Tonight: ‘Archer’ Is On Fire, ‘Portlandia’ Defends Weirdness, And The President Visits ‘Kimmel’

Archer
(FX, 10:00 p.m.) — The Russians get involved when Sterling and Lana’s office love affair starts to get on everyone else’s nerves.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) — An earthquake hits the hospital… and other parts of Seattle, I assume. Maggie gets trapped in an elevator as a result of the ground shaking, and Meredith’s streak of successful surgeries is in jeopardy.

The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8:00) — Sheldon is credited as the sole-writer of a paper that he and Leonard collaborated on, causing harsh feelings between the two of them. Then Leonard slaps Sheldon, and NBC makes a miniseries out of it.

The Blacklist (NBC, 9:00 p.m.) — Questions are asked in court about Elizabeth’s working relationship with Red.

Mom (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) — Bonnie and Christy are upset that Violet’s boyfriend (David Krumholtz) is “old enough to be her father” and I’m upset that Bernard the Elf from The Santa Clause movies is old enough to be a teenager’s father.

American Crime (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) — Barb and Russ see the suspects in court and battle Tom and Eve while trying to decide where to bury Matt.

Portlandia (IFC, 10:00 p.m.) — Paul Reubens stops by for the season finale to defend a couple of weirdos in court.

The Slap (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) — New time-slot, same slap.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: President Barack Obama and Sean Penn on Kimmel; Lena Dunham and Bobby Cannavale on Letterman; and Rob Corddry on The Daily Show.
