It’s Easter and what better way to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ than with a very creepy Michael Keaton and his basket o’ goodies! Last night’s SNL brought us this wonderfully weird sketch featuring a blonde Michael Keaton, his kinda cute sidekick Portia, and some nut named Jordan.
Here, Keaton explores all the candy and treats his Easter basket has to offer including a coughed up marshmallow peep, a bunny named after Glenn Close, and a copy of Friday on DVD. He even pulled out a matzah, giving all my fellow members of the tribe a Passover nod:
And for our Jewish friends, this is unleavened bread. Which means, unlike Jesus, it doesn’t rise.
To be fair, he does also call Santa Claus an attention whore and references using a hollow chocolate bunny as a sex toy. So…uh…HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY!
