The Best Week Of Television In 2015 Begins Tonight

It took about five minutes for Better Call Saul to become one of my favorite shows on television. I think I was sold during the scene where “Gene” watches a worn-out VHS copy of himself as Saul Goodman after a long shift at the Cinnabon. So, basically the first scene. But while I’m distraught that Season 1 is finished, and Season 2 won’t begin until next year, I’m able to find comfort in OH GOD THERE’S ONLY ONE EPISODE OF JUSTIFIED LEFT.

On the plus side, tonight is the beginning of the best week on TV in 2015, and while that includes the last episode of Justified (where’s that Mikey video?), that sadness is combined with the happiness from Game of Thrones, Veep, and Silicon Valley being back. Highlights include:

Wednesday, April 8

The Americans, which might just be the best show on TV right now

Thursday, April 9

Louie season premiere (plot description: “Louie goes to a pot luck dinner”)

Friday, April 10

Netflix’s Daredevil, all 13 episodes

Sunday, April 12

Game of Thrones season premiere
Veep season premiere
Silicon Valley season premiere
Mad Men
Last Week Tonight

Tuesday, April 14

Justified series finale

Wednesday, April 15

The Americans, again

All of that, plus new episodes of Comedy Bang! Bang!, SNL (with Cookie from Empire!), The Good Wife, Last Man on Earth, Jane the Virgin, Community, and Fresh Off the Boat, among others.

My DVR is going to explode.
