Fox Executives Say Another New Season Of ’24’ Is In Development

24jack

The most recent season of 24 — a shortened, 12-hour event series titled 24: Live Another Day — was a bonkers, violence-filled joyride that saw Jack Bauer take down a loosely connected international terrorist/hacker network using methods that ranged from (spoilers incoming) decapitating people with samurai swords to throwing people out windows to faking the assassination of the President of the United States by letting a drone piloted by Catelyn Stark from Game of Thrones blow a hole in a fully lit, completely empty Wembley Stadium. It was pretty good.

It now appears Jack and/or company will be back again. Fox executive Gary Walden spilled the beans in an early morning conference call, telling reporters, “We have been developing another version of 24, but it is still fairly early in the development process, so there’s just really nothing that we can tell you at this time other than [that] we are working on something.”

Nothing you can tell us?

NOTHING YOU CAN TELL US?
