If “(Do It On My) Twin Bed” taught us anything, it’s that Nasim Pedrad owned a lot of The X-Files on VHS, and also the in-studio audience loves it when the SNL cast gets personal. Then it was photos of the women when they were kids; during tonight’s monologue, Reese Witherspoon introduced everyone’s moms, followed by home video footage. Cecily Strong and Kate McKinnon have always been Cecily Strong and Kate McKinnon, and Kenan will always be a Mighty Duck.
And this was mighty adorable.
