Weekend Preview: BBQ, Badminton, Car Racing, And ‘Game Of Thrones’

Game of Thrones (HBO, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — According to the synopsis, “Sansa tries to talk to Theon.” Which is good, because how’s he doing? Poor lamb. Also, “Jamie attempts to reconnect with family.” #Phrasing. Also, Dornish prisons apparently allow phone calls or raven service. Figures that they’d be a bit more progressive, what with the nipple-y armor and all. Also, at this point, everyone is progressive compared to King’s Landing. AmIright? I’m right. Right?

NBA Playoffs (Various) — On TNT Friday at 8:30 p.m., the Cavs take on the Hawks, who will try to get by without Dominique Wilkins. Then the series moves to Cleveland on Sunday for TNT’s 8:30 game.

Over in the Western Conference, the Warriors take on the Rockets Saturday at 9:00 p.m. on ESPN.

Bitten (Syfy, Friday 11:00 p.m.) — Pretty people bite stuff in an all-new episode of this show that I’ve never seen. Also, a council of alphas comes together at Stonehaven, but uh oh, Savannah pops up and does that mean anything to you? Are they vampires? Werewolves? Vampire werewolves? Ah, the allure of mysterious things.

Orphan Black (BBC America, Saturday 9:00 p.m.) — Felix is trying to find Sarah and Paul finds out information about the Castor Boys’ logbooks of names.

The Indy 500 (ABC, Sunday at 12:00 p.m.) — Fast cars go fast at the annual Indianapolis 500 race. If you see David Letterman there, tell him we miss him.

Silicon Valley (HBO, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — With the company about to be plowed over thanks to their leader’s foolish decision some time ago, the team’s mad dreamer and ultimate wild card have a big idea that may just change everything. I miss Mad Men, too.

Penny Dreadful (Sho, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — Something is waiting to attack at Sir Malcolm’s manse and Vanessa should be worried about what Lyle’s Verbis Diablo relics are telling him.

Memorial Day Marathon Suggestions: Old timey war movies like The Dirty Dozen, Kelly’s Heroes, and Battleground on TCM. Also, there’s a Teen Mom marathon on MTV and The Monkees will air on IFC all day. So there’s three completely like suggestions. Also, Netflix is a thing that exists, so feel free to choose your own adventure within the safety of your home.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Jennifer Connelly, Judd Apatow, and Twenty One Pilots perform on Kimmel and a gathering of Kevins occurs on Fallon as Kevin Connolly and Kevin Delaney stop by.
