Wale is almost definitely the biggest Seinfeld fan in the hip-hop community. I mean, probably. DMX has been notably silent about his opinion of the show. So has Redman. I haven’t heard Kendrick Lamar chime in on it, either. But considering Wale put out an entire album dedicated to the show, The Album About Nothing, let’s go ahead and give him the title. Someone get X on the phone, though. Due diligence and all.
Anyway, Wale’s outspoken brand of fandom scored him a Seinfeld-related gig this summer, as the rapper will be hosting a series called Seinfeld Remix that will round-up all his favorite clips from the show. That’s the trailer up there. So if you want your Seinfeld remixed or something, tune in June 15. Library cop forever.
