It’s beautiful, it’s bleak, it boasts a killer cast, it’s about murder in the South, and it’s returning for another season soon. Nope, not True Detective, it’s Rectify, the Sundance Channel original series that asks, did Daniel do it? (Maybe.) Also, does Abigail Spencer have the world’s most perfect, shiniest hair? (Yes.) With its deliberate pacing, complicated moral and spiritual quandaries, and lack of closure, Rectify isn’t an easy show to watch, but it’s worth the effort. The first two seasons are on Netflix, and Season 3 premieres in early July.
