The Teen In The Texas Pool Party Video Thinks The Suspended Cop Getting Fired ‘Is Not Enough’

Fox 4 News caught up with Dajerria Becton, the 15-year-old who was violently shoved to the ground by a police officer in a viral video that led to the cop’s suspension. She told the reporter that Corporal Eric Casebolt of the McKinney Police Department “grabbed me, twisted my arm on my back, and shoved me in the grass and started pulling the back of my braids,” while “I was telling him to get off me because my back was hurting bad.”

Becton added, “Him getting fired is not enough.”

McKinney’s mayor, Brian Loughmiller, released a statement on the “incident,” which got even uglier when someone discovered Casebolt’s “police training” YouTube playlist.

“Having seen the YouTube Video I am disturbed and concerned by the incident and actions depicted in the video. Our expectation as a City Council is that our police department and other departments will act professionally and with appropriate restraint relative to the situation they are faced with. Our City Management and Police Chief are investigating the situation as required, and I have faith that they will conclude the investigation expeditiously and take appropriate action. We will continue to monitor the situation through our City Manager’s office and will continue to work with community leaders as we follow this investigative process.” (Via)

Meanwhile, the people of McKinney are showing their support for the police interference.
