What’s On Tonight: Nothing… Unless You Count Baseball And ‘MasterChef’

MasterChef
(FOX, 8:00 p.m.) — The contestants head to Las Vegas and split into teams to take over a nightclub, which sounds silly because the only things most people order at Vegas nightclubs are overpriced bottles of liquor. The losers will have a steak-off to see who’s sent packin’.

Celebrity Wife Swap (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) — Charo and Vicki from The Love Boat trade places and no one even had to pee in a fountain or eat magic fortune to make it happen.

MLB Wednesday Night Baseball (ESPN, 7:00 p.m.) — The Bryce Harper Show will be nationally televised on Wednesday. The kid’s just 22, but he’s well on his way to an NL MVP Award as we approach the half-way point in the 2015 season. He and the Nationals host the Rays in D.C. on another night of interleague play.

College World Series (ESPN, 8:00 p.m.) — This will be the game with all the “PING!”-ing that you flip past 62 times while trying to find something to watch tonight. Miami and Florida will be competing for the right to advance in Omaha. Loser goes home.

American Pickers (History, 9:00 p.m.) — There’s nothing else on, so you might as well tune in to watch the guys check out a rare vintage car from the Great Depression.

Orange Is The New Black (Netflix, Whenever You Want) — Season 3 has been online for almost a week now, but tonight’s light load means it’s the perfect time to binge-watch to clear your slate for the forthcoming premieres of HBO’s Sunday night lineup.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Steve Ballmer, Blake Anderson and Allen Stone on Conan; Jessica Szohr, Aasif Mandvi and Nick Thune on Corden; Bill Clinton on The Daily Show; Mark Ruffalo, Alan Rickman and James Taylor on Fallon; Bill Hader, Shameik Moore and Philip Selway on Kimmel; Mindy Kaling, Adam Scott and Tove Lo on Meyers.
