What’s On Tonight: The Season 5 Premiere Of ‘Teen Wolf’

Teen Wolf (MTV, 10 p.m.) — It’s the Season 5 premiere, it’s senior year, and Scott and his pack are dealing with the return of an old friend and the arrival of a new enemy. Have I ever watched this show? No, but those creepy-ass promos MTV’s been airing nonstop for the past month have me intrigued.

American Ninja Warrior (NBC, 8 p.m.) — Contestants in Pittsburg subject themselves to obstacle courses like the Snake Crossing and Wind Chimes to make it past another round of qualifiers.

So You Think You Can Dance (FOX, 8 p.m.) — Auditions are over, the first round of callbacks takes place in Las Vegas, and Paula Abdul is still too nice to fairly judge any kind of competition show.

The Bachelorette (ABC, 8 p.m.) — Kaitlyn and the boys are still in Ireland doing whatever it is you do there, and everything’s pretty peachy, until one of the guys decides to sneak into her room late at night, interrupting her beauty sleep, to whine about the fact that the bachelorette is giving her attention to multiple men. Ummm… did he not watch this show before he auditioned to be on it?

The Fosters (ABC Fam, 8 p.m.) — Callie, Jude and Connor get ready for their LGBT prom, while Lena deals with her asshat of a brother.

WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8 p.m.) — Brock Lesnar’s still here, and he’s pretty pissed at the Authority.

Major Crimes (TNT, 9 p.m.) — When some douche named Buzz Watson discovers a body during his first ride-along, the team finds their annual 4th of July baseball game in jeopardy.

The Woodsmen (HIST, 9 p.m.) — This show is apparently about men living in tree houses. Being that I was deprived of a tree house as a child, I will be watching and living vicariously through them.

Murder In the First (TNT, 10 p.m.) — Raffi thinks Hildy’s continuing murder probe might affect her own case, and an inspector’s body is found.

UnReal (LIFE, 10 p.m.) — Quinn sues Chet, Jeremy and Rachel try to mend their friendship, and the crew heads to Mississippi for Faith’s hometown date.

The Island (NBC, 10 p.m.) — Five episodes in, and the guys are just now cluing into the importance of having shelter and working together.

The Whispers (ABC, 10 p.m.) — Lena’s watching Minx to make sure she isn’t still talking to Dill, while Claire’s trying to jog Sean’s memory about their past life together.

LATE-NIGHT LISTINGS: Emilia Clarke, Vanessa Bayer and Miguel on Kimmel; Taylor Schilling on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart; and Evangeline Lilly and Marshawn Lynch on Conan. Fallon, Meyers and Corden are repeats.
