The Lone Gunmen Will Also Appear In The ‘X-Files’ Revival

Fox’s X-Files revival is one big paranoid family reunion.

Televised Revolution reports that Byers, Frohike, and Langly, better known as the Lone Gunmen, will join Walter Skinner, Monica Reyes, and the Smoking Man in the category of “characters besides Mulder and Scully who we hope are returning, and that doesn’t include Alex Krycek.” The Edward Snowdens of the 1990s were a big part of the original series’ popularity, and they even starred in a less successful spin-off for all of 13 episodes.

Dean Haglund (Langly) made the announcement in Australia last night, telling a crowd, “Today, they contacted us. We’re shooting July 28. The gunmen are in the final six.” Now, if you’ve seen The X-Files, you might be wondering: didn’t the Lone Gunmen die? How can they return?

I don’t know the answer (the truth, if you will), but it can probably be found in Jon Snow’s hair.
