Will Donald Trump’s Feud With Univision Destroy His Chances With Hispanic Voters?

To say that Hispanic voters aren’t fond of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump would be a bit dishonest. According to a recent Gallup poll of approximately 650 Hispanic voters, they’re not too fond of any of the GOP candidates, but holy moly do they dislike Trump. However, it could still be considered a victory that Trump’s ongoing crusade against the 14th Amendment doesn’t have the “net favorable score” at a cool -100. At the same time, there’s a new poll to be conducted in the wake of Trump booting Univision’s Jorge Ramos from his press conference yesterday, so we should be a little more patient in watching the unapologetic real estate mogul continue to defy the odds with his special brand of “honesty.”

Trump’s beef with the Univision journalist and his network are well-documented, as he previously complained about Ramos on Twitter and shared his phone number in the process. But Trump is clearly a man who doesn’t give a damn about openly fighting with the media, because between Ramos and Fox News’ Megyn Kelly it’s astounding that he doesn’t have Hispanic and female voters waving pitchforks and torches outside of his classy mansion’s gates.

For more on Trump’s downward spiral with Hispanic voters, anchors Tom Storey and Briana Lane weigh in on today’s episode of The Desk.
