Neil Patrick Harris stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday night, where he was asked about his days playing a teenage doctor on Doogie Howser, M.D., and whether or not he ever watches those old episodes. I have no idea why anyone would ever want to do that to themselves, because that’s an awkward time for pretty much everyone as it is, even if your entire formative years were not broadcast for the entire world to see.
Harris says he does occasionally catch old episodes, but mostly can’t get over how his voice sounded “before his testicles dropped,” which led to some interesting discussion about the state of Neil Patrick Harris’ balls. Eh. I guess, in the grand scheme of things, it can’t be any less embarrassing than playing a misogynistic, puppet-loving, sexually-confused weirdo last season on American Horror Story. (I’ll never forgive Ryan Murphy for that.)
