Uzo Aduba might not be crazy in real life, but her character Crazy Eyes from Orange Is the New Black might be skating on the line. The same can’t be said for the fans of the show, because they do some pretty nutty things in the name of meeting their favorite lady prisoners from the show.
Aduba revealed one such incident during Tuesday’s Conan, noting how a fan actually approached her in the middle of a marathon to get a photograph. There was no request, no attempt to stop, he just jumped into the race in New York and said, “We gonna take a selfie.” It’s awkward, but damn memorable. The only way it would be worse would be if he pulled out the selfie stick to take the photo. It might’ve been easier to take the picture, but the idea of a selfie stick during a marathon is the peak of ridiculousness.
