Earlier this year, rumors began floating around regarding which cast members may be returning to Fox’s X-Files revival series. Over the past few months, we’ve received confirmation that Walter Skinner will return, as well as everyone’s favorite Lone Gunmen.
Now, according to Deadline, another actor is returning to the Chris Carter fold as Annabeth Gish will return to reprise her role as FBI Agent Monica Reyes. After appearing on the long running sci-fi series, Gish has been seen in other notable small-screen performances on shows like The Bridge, Sons of Anarchy and Pretty Little Liars.
The six-episode series is set to enjoy a two-night premiere January 24th and 25th. The casting announcements are sure to continue rolling in until then. Here’s hoping Nicholas Lea will be amongst those names, because honestly, the return of that black oil-loving Alex Krycek will make this one truly perfect experience.
