These lip sync battles might be a bit more entertaining if the loser of the battle was forced to give their life or something, like the classic days in The Colosseum. Sadly, we’re just left with hugging and smiling when Ellen DeGeneres shows up to best Jimmy Fallon in a lip sync war officiated by Justin Timberlake.
DeGeneres won with a soft rendition of Diana Ross’ “Do You Know Where You’re Going To” and Rihanna’s “B*tch Better Have My Money.” She really didn’t give Fallon much of a chance at all, with his choice of The Killers and Silento’s “Watch Me Whip.” For Fallon to pull out History of Rap AND Lip Sync Battle on the same night, something must be up. A drunken Pat Sajak wouldn’t need many letters to solve that puzzle, trust me. Right, Pat?
