So, the CNN Democratic Debate has come and gone, but we got plenty of surprising moments. The most surprising is likely that there are three other candidates running for the Democratic Party nomination (four if you count Lawrence Lessig). The second most surprising thing, as Mashable points out, is that Bernie Sanders is likely Larry David in disguise. There’s no denying it.
To prove it, this clip is making the rounds that points out the similarities between Sanders and David’s impression of Yankees owner and alleged Lee Harvey Oswald fan George Steinbrenner from Seinfeld. There were some who tossed out that Sanders might be like Costanza, but if you think about it, David is essentially Costanza without network censors and it makes sense.
