Bill Murray Did His Best To Get Over The Cubs Losing During ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Bill Murray was in New York to do Jimmy Kimmel Live, but his main reason for the trip was to watch his beloved Chicago Cubs take on the New York Mets in the NLCS, something that didn’t work out so well. That’s because the Cubs are currently down 0-2 in the series, which was clearly wearing on Murray if you judge based on his choice of attire. Once he got to the guest chair, some talk about his family and a bit of smack talk on Red Sox fans got Murray to calm himself and warm up for the interview to come.

The second portion of the interview focused more on Murray’s new movie Rock the Kasbah, and his upcoming Netflix extravaganza, A Very Murray Christmas, why Morocco is the perfect destination for cowards and just how terrible he is at using technology.

After some talk about his first time in New York, the interview ended with a standing ovation, though that’s how I imagine all of Murray’s interviews end. If they don’t, that’s a bit of a crime. It should be written on his list of show demands (or a rider if you want to get all specific on me). Bill Murray is a treasure.
