In the fantastic season premiere of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, things were not going so great for Captain Holt. For starters, he was forced to name a pigeon mascot by evil bureau chief Madeline Wuntch, and later had to dress up as that pigeon mascot.
In the preview for Sunday’s new episode, it seems that things have continued on that downward spiral, as he’s been tasked with writing a toast to someone’s funeral. Holt copes with this by chugging “Beaujolais in a burgundy glass without a care.” His toast, which is supposed to be a “message of hope,” seems a little rusty, as well.
I’m sorry, can someone explain to me how he did not win an Emmy, again?
